Customer Service

My Ten Commandments of Customer Service

  1. Treat end-users as customers.
  2. Teach customers how to solve problems.
  3. Pay attention to customer needs, goals, and concerns.
  4. Ask the right troubleshooting questions.
  5. Work towards long-term solutions, instead of short-term fixes.
  6. Apologize and take ownership of problems.
  7. Focus on solutions, not on blame.
  8. Put yourself in the customer's shoes.
  9. Listen to your customers.
  10. Laugh, smile and have fun
