I continuously evolve and adapt my skills and draw upon my experience in order to generate the most successful outcomes. Leadership is an incredibly important skill and it can make, or break, the success of a team.
I prefer to lead in a delegative and transformational style. I inspire my team with a vision and then encourage and empower them to achieve it, while I serve as a role model for the vision. In addition, I delegate initiative to team members who are competent and who take responsibility. Innovation and creativity are highly valued.
During my career I have managed teams locally and across geographical boundaries. I have mentored and developed individuals to enable them to successfully pursue promotions and increased responsibility.
Furthermore, during my time at Walbridge, I was selected three times to be a mentor to a member of staff outside of the IT Department.
Each mentoring experience was different but all provided an excellent outcome.
