I began my career in IT Support in 1988.
Over the subsequent years, I have maintained proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities, data protection and encryption.
I have a solid background in laptop and desktop support and repair. Additionally, I have performed Windows support beginning with Windows 3.1 through XP, NT, Windows 2000, 7, 8.1, and the subsequent releases of Windows 10. I have also supported network environments including Novell and Microsoft.
I have utilized TCP/IP networking to reserve IP addresses and ranges, to point to selected DNS resources and to perform load balancing.
Using AV tools I have removed virus infections, recovered infected data, and strengthened against future attacks.
I spent many years working in the field in addition to providing onsite support at corporate locations.
I have been able to work on, and support, a wide range of technologies including routers, switches, printers, tablets, laptops, desktops and servers. I work quickly and accurately, keeping the customer updated and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
